We share stories through video. Stories that sell, train and inform.  Stories that raise money, raise friends, or raise awareness. We believe that video is the most effective and compelling tool to reach your audience. Whether at a sales meeting or gala event, on a DVD or via the internet, video stories reach your audience where they are. The programs we produce are purpose-driven and results oriented. Our Team

Team Member

Rich has over thirty years of experience in video communications, multi-media production and training. For many years he was Manager of Communications for Strawbridge & Clothier, and was responsible for producing training, delphia. recruiting, fashion, point-of-sale and motivational programs for the highly regarded department store chain. In 1996, he went into business on his own as Rich Tolsma Productions. Rich is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has been involved at the local and international level for twelve years.  In 2015 Rich was elected to the board of American Insight and the Free Speech Film Festival.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University in Music Education and a master’s degree in Educational Communications from Temple University. A dedicated musician, Rich sings with the Philadelphia Singers Chorale and the Mendelssohn Club of Phila

Since 1994, Mark has been successfully producing images and photos for Emmy nominated television shows, inspiring documentaries, reality television, professional sporting events, national news, and non-profit groups. His creative vision, sensitivity to client needs and an understanding of production technology and techniques offer clients a confidence that is unique to the industry. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast / Cable from Penn State University with a minor in Art / Photography.

Erik balances post-production and field work, has experience filming, editing, and providing technical support to a broad base of clients. With a passion for audio and years of experience as a musician, Erik brings a unique skill set to all projects. He has worked with multiple production technologies and a myriad of equipment, solidifying a professional knowledge in many aspects of the film and audio professions. Erik holds a B.A. in Film and Media from Temple University.

James works in the offices of Rich Tolsma Productions assisting with marketing and managing our social media efforts. In addition to coordinating our Short Story projects James handles in-house digital photography for both production stills and documenting our work for Facebook and Twitter. An avid collector of classic cameras James is adept at film photography using 35mm as well as medium format. James received a B.S. from Saint Joseph’s University and an A.A.S. from Delaware County Community College.

Gina is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Temple University holding B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. Gina has a passion for telling powerful and captivating stories through audio and video. She’s edited or produced programs for clients including The Fleisher Art Memorial, Back on my Feet, The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, and Maccabi USA. At Temple University, Gina was Vice President of the philanthropic sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma, recipient of the Broadcast Journalism Achievement Award, and was recently acknowledged with 2012’s Best TV/Video News. In addition to her work with our company, she continues to work as an editor for Temple University’s newsroom.

Louis holds a B.S in Communications Media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a minor in Theater. Excelling at both field work and post-production abilities, he brings a unique skill set to all projects. At IUP Louis was the producer of a student run TV show entitled “Urban Superior” and was a member of Lambda Pi Eta (The official Undergraduate Communications Honors Society at the National Communications Association). Louis’s passion extends outside of the office; with his DSLR he has created an extensive portfolio of stunning visuals including music videos, documentaries, corporate videos, and short films.
